Open Position: Outside Sales

For over 25 years, CPI Business Solutions has been helping local businesses in North Central Indiana use office technology to do great work. We are looking for a B2B business development sales professional to call upon small and medium-sized business.

In this role you will:

  • Form long-term relationships to grow your account base. As the account executive within an assigned, protected territory build your base of business, earn more commissions, including a commission stream for years to come, plus be home each night and weekend.
  • Be goal driven. Work with existing business customers (B2B) and prospect to create new account opportunities to reach your personal and professional financial goals (with no cap on commissions).
  • Market the latest technology. Backed by a full line of office equipment including, laptops, professional display boards, scanners, copiers, and printers, plus software and document management systems you’ll have what businesses need to do great work. Use the strong product brands of Sharp, Xerox, and Brother to become the one-stop shop for local businesses.
  • Enjoy the freedom to get the job done. Continually evolve personally and professionally to grow your skill set to “own” your role. Local leadership is available when needed but you’ll be allowed the independence and trust to take care of customers and reach your goals.

To be successful in this role you will need:

  • A strong desire to build a career in sales. Whether you seek a new career in sales, have worked in sales, have sold B2B or even if you’ve worked in the office technology industry, we want to talk about your career goals.
  • Work and live in your sales territory in the greater Lafayette area or North Central Indiana area including Monticello and Logansport. This is not a remote position.
  • An affinity for technology and ability to show how it can help local businesses achieve their goals, take care of their customers, and help their employees do great work.
  • Internal drive to do well and be successful.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Products (Outlook, Word, Excel) desired.
  • Experience with a CRM a plus (i.e., SalesChain) but not required.
